Angelica Maria Vale Hartman also popularly referred to as her professional name Angelica Vale is a Mexican American performer, actress and radio personality. Her parents were comedians Raul Vale and Angelica Maria La Novia Mexico. In 1973, she was credited for launching her own La Balada Ranchera (Ranchera Ballad) musical genre which topped the charts and made Angelica Maria the first Latin performer to make two million copies within the United States. In 1974 she met Venezuelan singer/comic Raul Vae. She later married in 1975 at the first marriage broadcast by Mexico. Angelica Vale, born November 11, 1975, was born in Mexico City.
